Drive Away Hunger is an agriculture and food industry effort to connect the food we produce with the people who need it the most. As program partners, we donate product and money to food banks and other food security agencies nationwide and share knowledge, connections and resources to increase donation reach and reduce food waste.
Nearly 20% of Canadians get their food from charitable organizations, yet 3.2 million tonnes of surplus edible food is produced in Canada each year, and 96% of it is not rescued.
