FCC School Food Assistance Program

Apply to receive up to $1,000 to fund school food security initiatives. Applications are accepted year-round.

Who can apply

• Schools

Who can apply on behalf of schools

• First Nation, Inuit or Métis community groups and tribal councils

• Registered charities with the Canada Revenue Agency or non-profit organizations

• School boards or parent councils

Eligible uses of funding include but are not limited to:

• Purchase, transportation and distribution of nutritious food

• Purchase, installation or repair of equipment needed for programs

• Costs related to implementing programs
