FCC School Food Assistance Program
Apply to receive up to $1,000 to fund school food security initiatives. Applications are accepted year-round.

Who can apply
Public schools
Who can apply on behalf of schools
First Nation, Inuit or Métis community groups and tribal councils
Registered charities with the Canada Revenue Agency or non-profit organizations
School boards or parent councils
Eligible uses of funding include but are not limited to:
Purchase, transportation and distribution of nutritious food
Purchase, installation or repair of equipment needed for food programs
Costs related to implementing food programs
School assistance programs applying for capital purchases should apply for FCC Community Funding.
